Pinwheels!

I am very excited. It is less than 3 weeks until the holidays.  There is nothing like spending time with your family at home. We have got a few things planned but I think it's mainly relaxing. Our beloved friends are coming up to stay for a week. They are like family. I can't wait to see them.

On the last day of school we are having a class party. I am bringing pizza pinwheels. Just to perfect them and make sure they work I tested them yesterday. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

2 sheets of puff pastry
1 egg, lightly beaten
100g ham, chopped thinly
150g tinned crushed pineapple, well drained
50g grated cheese

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Lay out the pastry sheets. Brush with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the ham, pineapple and cheese on top. (Not too much.) Let it rest for 15min. Roll up firmly and using a serrated knife cut into slices 1cm thick. Place wheels on the baking trays and bake for 20min or golden. Enjoy!
